Kitchen Project

Dear Joe & Dean:

Just a note to let you know that after more than a year of living in our new kitchen, Joan and I still love everything about it. The bright decór, the beautiful wood floor, the lighting and the efficiency of the layout are all just what we had expected them to be.

Your crew did a very professional job at each stage of the reconstruction from removal of the old kitchen interior, through the electrical and plumbing phase, to the installation of the cabinetry, flooring and appliances.

You were also very helpful to us in choosing from the myriadof available cabinet styles, fixtures, faucets, windows, doors, etc. Left on our own, I think we would still be trying to make all those decisions!!

Our heartiest thanks to you and your crew for a difficult job well done. We look forward to seeing you again in the future when another room needs new life.

Thank you so much for the high quality work you have performed at our home. From your first meeting when you fixed our leaky roof and installed dormers that transformed the look and use of the up stairs of our cape cod house, you have done so much for us. From larger jobs like our modern kitchen and our basement re-do, with built in shelves, to small jobs like rebuilding our banister, building closets and making a custom corner cabinet for our bathroom. In every case, your people are professional and neat. Your estimates are fair and accurate. You communicate with us every step of the way, and you and your team are a pleasure to work with.

Larry

Dear Joe & Dean,

As we see our son and daughter-in-law struggle to find competent people in Eatontown to fis "all the woes that [houses are] heir to," Larry and I are once again profoundly grateful to you and your fine crew of expert craftsmen. I look around and see you everywhere in my house, literally from the peak of the roof to the now water-free basement.

I first called you--straight from the Yellow Pages--one bitter winter when some shingles blew off the roof. Joe, you came promptly, fixed the immediate problem quickly, charged me a reasonable price, and assessed the general state of the roof with no sales pressure at all and with the courteous assumption that I was an intelligent person who could understand what you had to say. When we needed to replace the roof you tore off the existing roofs as the code demanded, and the new roof flew up with dazzling speed, no interruptions, no delays, clean as a whistle. Every crew member a prince. That job years ago cemented the smartest business relationship I've ever made.

Since then, you have been extraordinarily patient in listening to my ideas about fixing many problems, like the water runoff trouble in my driveway by re-grading the slope and adding passive drain, being brilliant detectives with variousassorted drips and leaks, installing a hot tub on my deck, installing 21st century windows in my 1939 house with a minimum of pain, and making ancient doors free-swinging and silent. Always a fair price. Never a crew member cranky, sloppy, loud-mouthed or ignorant about his job.

Thank you for running an honorable business with highly skilled people. Now if only you could cut hair and cobble shoes, I'd really have one-stop shopping!

Porch Enclosure

Dear Joe, Dean, Beth and all at Episcopo Builders,

We wanted to take this opportunity to say how thrilled we are with the work your company did on our porch enclosure. The entire experience was a pleasure. We felt this from the first meeting with Dean to discuss our expectations, to our many dealings with Beth as she checked on the progress of the job, to Joe's patience in explaining a few minor, but unexpected details - from start to finish, an exceptionally professional job! Everyone who sees the new roomremarks on the quality of the workmanship, and the fact that it looks like it has been there since the house was built - an indication of how well you worked toward integrating the new construction with the existing house. House Addition

Dear Joe & Dean,

It is with great pleasure that we add our names to your list of satisfied customers. Having dealt originally with your father more than fifteen years ago, and been totally satisfied then, I was gratified that when we called you to handle the latest addition to our house, you had carried on his tradition of integrity, superior workmanship and unblemished courtesy.

It is in repeating business that the best recommendation is made and so I am glad to say that we have already proved it by using your services twice in the past. Basement Project

Dear Joe and Dean:

I am writing this letter to let you know how I appreciate the great work you have done in our basement. Your team was efficient and professional every step of the way, from the masonry work involved in building the outside stairwell and doorway, to the interior workof the big room, computer center and bathroom. We love the glass blocks that separate the rooms and the large landing at the bottom of the staircase. We are very happy to have chosen the special Armstrong ceiling tiles, as they provide great insulation and style to the basement. Finally, the bathroom is a showcase, thanks to the artistry of your tile man.

Dear Joe,

It is quite unusual for me to send a letter of thanks to another builder, however I feel the need to express my sincere thank you to our company for the work done during the past few months. As you are aware I am a General Contractor whowas requested by one of my clients to be incharge of what would be some rather extensive work to alter and increase the size of their home. At the same time I was in need of a builder capable of tackling such a large job and were decided this was right for both of us. Having used numerous sub contractors over the years, I am quite aware that many times situations areis that cause subs to not show for days and weeks at a time. Now that this job is concluding I wish to make sure you and all of your employees know how pleased I have been with everything you have shown me. Not only did you keep the project going at top speed, you alse helped make sure all stumbling blocks were taken care of, you proved that the slogan on the side of your vehicles "Dedicated to Professionalism" is more than just a slogan, you were able to handle any changes to the original plan without any problem, and your work was of superior quality.

Joe, you have impressed me so much that any time I need a builder, I know where my first call will be going. Once again THANK YOU and please pass this on to your entire crew. I honestly believe you people caused this project to come to completion ahead of schedule with superior quality.

Bathroom Project

Dear Joe,

This is a long overdue note to let you know howpleased my wife and I have been with the work that you have done for us over the past year. Ou new bathroom and powder room are just beautiful and renovations that you have done for us in the den and entrance foyer were truly beyond or original expectations. In over thrity years of home ownership I have never previously had the experience of working with such a polite and professional team of ine craftsmen. The attention to eventhe smallest detail seemed to be "business as usual" for your team, and we could always count on you to be there when promised. I think that it is also worth mentioning that we completely comfortable with your men in our home at all times, even when we were not at home. They are a wonderful group of craftsmen who always left our home in a clean and neat condition at the end of the day.

Joe, we can't thank you enough for treating our home as if it were your own. I know that we will be calling on your team again in the near future for another home improvement project. We lookforward to it.

Chatham Project

Dear Joseph,

Hadn't had a chance to get this letter drafted until I found some time this wet Memorial Day weekend. I wanted to let you know that you and your team did a great job with a project at our homoe in Chatham this past spring. Beyond Craftsmanship and attention to detail, two large points stick out.

The job was 100% complete and on schedule. While this is and should be every customer's expectation, reality is most contractors somplete only 80% of a project while we the customer find ourselves pleading with the contractor to finish the remaining 10%/ Having experienced this firsthand with many other contractors, this was not the case with your firm.

More important, and the primary reason I will both recommend your firm to others & use Joseph Episcopo & Soms for my next project us how you personally handled a situation that arose with the project (wallpaper was found beneath the current woodwork). Rather than leaving the work as spec'd out in the agreement or requiring additional charges, you had your staff simply "do what was right" for the project and the customer. As a president of a public company in NYC, and someone who understnads "the customer is always right", I applaud you for your excellent service.

Amazing - quality craftsmanship and an understanding of how to service the customer, sounds basic, but unfortunately rare to find in the contracting business. Congrats at perfecting both.

Regardsm and I am looking forward to working with your firm in the not too distant future.

Small Projects

We thank you for the completion of our small jobs. They were major improvements for us, small jobs for youm and we appreciate your doing them. You put up with our numerous faxes and phone calls, kept in touch with us, coordinated everything superbly, and all the guys that worked here were the best, Their skills are outstanding, and they never got mad at us when we got picky anout something, and gladly took care of it. Paying attention to detail is most important, and all of you accomplish that easily. We wish you the best of everything in 2005 and ongoing.
